To satisfy customer’s needs for more sustainably bottled wines, many wineries are turning to innovative ways of bottling their creations, from bag-in-a-box type wines to canned and even wines in single serve tubes.
Sea-aged wine
This year will see the exciting release of Britain’s first sea-aged wine, which has been developed by Hampshire-based winemakers, Exton Park.
It was lowered 60 meters below the sea, just off the coast of Brittany, to be aged. It will be extremely interesting to see how this goes down with wine connoisseurs.
